EUMETSAT's almost realtime weather data is freely available through a Web Map Service (WMS) in Global Mapper. The link to the WMS can be added in GM through the "Connect to Online Data" tool. The earth observation (EO) data and products provided by EUMETSAT are delivered from satellites having different orbit types, which affects the spatial coverage and spatial/ temporal resolution of the produced products. Through this service access to the following Eumetsat products can be established: - Instantaneous Precipitation rate (H03B) - Active fire monitoring product (FIR) - Cloud Analysis Image (CLAI) - Cloud Mask (CLM) - Natural Colour RGB - As well as various infrared images
