SMC Synergy pesented a Global Mapper training course at the North West University
SMC Synergy presented a Global Mapper training course at the North West University (NWU) on February 12, 2025. The main focus was an introduction to Global Mapper/Pro, extraction of Point Clouds from UAV/Drone data and the use of Global Mapper Mobile for bush encroachment field surveys. Professors Klaus Kellner and Pieter Malan also attended the course. Global Mapper will be used in a Bush Encroachment Restoration project coordinated by the NWU in South Africa for the Southern African Science Service Centre for Climate Change and Adaptive Land Management (SASSCAL).
